Once again the EMW’s Aberystwyth Conference draws near and we hope that you will be able to join us.
The Aberystwyth Conference offers expository preaching, warm fellowship and a prayerful spirit. The week-long programme (see brochure on the right) means that whilst there is plenty to do, there is also an opportunity to reflect on what has been heard. For
those who wish to explore, Aberystwyth is an ideal base for discovering mid-Wales’ beautiful coastline and rich history.
This year we give a first time welcome to Art Azurdia III as our main speaker. Having pastored Christ Community Church, California for 19 years Art now teaches pastoral theology at Western Seminary, Oregon. He is best known in the UK as the author of Spirit Empowered Preaching. His visit to the Bala Ministers’ Conference a few years ago is remembered by many for his excellent addresses and we look forward to God using him in a similar way at Aber.
Other first-time speakers include Rico Tice and three Welshmen, Paul Levy, Robert Thomas and John Treharne. We also welcome back Wyn Hughes and Stuart Olyott. In addition, there is the usual mix of prayer meetings, seminars, children and young people’s meetings, missions exhibition and of course the warm Christian fellowship.
University accommodation means we can offer a wide variety of rooms to suit all budgets. There’s just one word of advice: book early!
Cost
Prices for the conference start from just £105 for adults and £55 for children (including self-catering accommodation), with bursaries available for those on a low wage.
Children
Children are well-cared for with special Bible-based meetings for 5-11 year olds and 11-14 year olds which take place during the morning conference addresses. A crèche is also provided for children over 1, and under 5 years of age.

Topics covered will include How to teach the Bible, Serving the Church, Prayer, and a mini series called Bite-sized Theology. A lunch, barbecue and sports tournament are also arranged. Find out more at the extratime microsite.
